Reduce Your Pollution!

Refuse taking items that are bad for the environment, taking less means that in the end smaller amounts of pollution will end up in the landfill.

EX: Instead of purchasing, using, and throwing away a plastic water bottle refuse the item and swap it for a better alternative such as a reusable bottle. 

Reduce the amount of items you use that harm the environment. This allows for smaller amounts in our landfills. 

EX: If you were in the situation where you had to buy a plastic water bottle just buy one instead of three and refill the one when you need more water to create less pollution.

Create alternative purposes for the waste so it does not have to go into the landfills. 

EX: When you had to buy the plastic water bottle you could now change it purpose and create it into a new craft. Such as a planter, water bottle rocket, pen holder, or so much more.

The harmful materials that you cannot come up with a use for should end up in recycling to create new materials.

EX: Instead of throwing away the plastic water bottle you should recycle it so they can create new plastic that can be used to use less raw materials.
